Santa Catalina is located on the foothills of the Acatenango volcano, extends from 1,550 meters to over 2,100 meters and grows the highest coffee of all five plantations. It has an important natural forest reserve alongside the coffee plants and thus, its unique volcanic organic soil, which combined with high altitude Bourbon coffee variety, produces a perfect genuine Antigua coffee bean. The farm is named after an ancestor to the existing owner, named Catalina, born in the early 1900s, who cherished and adored this plantation.
